Medicines vs. ProSolution
There are a plethora of products available for treating male sexual dysfunction, including ones that require a prescription such as Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis, and ones which don’t, including ProSolution Pills, ProEnhance Patches, and Volume Pills. If you are a prospective consumer looking for a solution to an extremely personal issue, it may be easy to become disheartened with the vast “sea” of these products. However, as with any medication, a simple but very serious determining factor when choosing a treatment should be the side effects of usage. And a great rule of thumb is that the solution should never be worse than the initial problem. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Center for Drug Evaluation and Research website, the usage of Viagra (Sildenafil citrate), Levitra (Vardenafil hydrochloride), and Cialis (Tadalafil) are all known to cause the following side effects: headaches, excessive urination, diarrhea, upset stomach, stuffy or runny nose, and urinary tract infections, and sudden changes in vision. On July 8, 2005, the USFDA released a statement regarding updated labeling for all three medications to inform consumers of reports of sudden vision loss in one or both eyes. If used simultaneously with certain other medications, or by men with certain preexisting conditions, Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis can cause blood pressure to drop suddenly and dramatically, causing dizziness, fainting, heart attack, or stroke. More gravely, the USFDA reports 130 Viagra-related deaths occurred between March and November of 1998, 77 of which were caused by cardiovascular events, such as strokes and heart attacks. All three of the products listed above are marketed to treat penile dysfunction, however clinical trials have proven an increased cardiac risk during sexual arousal, and the FDA states explicitly that none of the three prescription products cure erectile dysfunction or increase libido. Because the USFDA does not govern herbal medicines, many people believe these treatments to be unsafe or ineffective. This is an unfortunate misconception, as the natural ingredients contained in herbal remedies have been proven effective for centuries, and one product can treat many maladies with very little or no side effects at all. A perfect example of such an herbal medicine is ProSolution pills, recommended for increased libido, increased penis size (length and girth), increased sperm volume, firmer erections, and intensified orgasms. The ProSolution formula contains Apigenin (flavanoid) and Amla (Vitamin C), which, when combined, maintain blood vessel health, improve health of sexual organs, and increase sexual desire. Taj and Safflower open the body’s blood vessels, increasing blood flow to all body parts, including the genital region, resulting in a larger penis and firmer erections that last longer. Also contained in the ProSolution pill formula is Momordica, which has been used historically to improve blood circulation, and increase testosterone levels, and Arjuna, for improving cardiovascular health, which in turn improves sexual stamina. Bladderwrack stimulates the thyroid gland, Cordyceps has positive effects on the cardiovascular and reproductive systems, and the Reishi Mushroom increases overall energy and stamina. Musli and Shatavari are well-known aphrodisiacs, with Musli often referred to as herbal Viagra, and Shatavari aids in the treatment of impotence. This combination of natural, proven ingredients provides more reliable, more effective, and safer results for many reasons. These are not new ingredients, formed in a laboratory, and clinically tested for mere moments in time. Herbs have been used successfully in the treatment and cure of countless illness and conditions since long before modern medicine was even developed, and as such, are admittedly the foundation of modern medicine. Months or even years of clinical trials cannot outperform thousands of years of every-day-life trials. |
